Welcome to boost's free networking event booking page. After a very successful summer event, we are looking forward to welcoming you to our event this autumn, at the Burlington Hotel in Worthing.

As leaders and managers of SMEs, you know how important networking is in gaining new business, building relationships and checking out the competition. Our networking events offer you the opportunity to network with other local business leaders or managers of SMEs. Whether you work in removals, own a high street shop or manage a cleaning company, our networking events will be open to all in a relaxed environment geared towards anyone, from the networking novice to the networking expert.

In addition to networking, boost events will also offer a 30 minute presentation focused on the world of the SME leader or manager. Our speaker Dave Cottrell has built his own SME from scratch. aspahleia has been running successfully for 10 years and employs more than 80 staff across Sussex, West London, Kent and Sierra Leone, Africa.

As SME leaders, we sometimes feel we’re constantly having to react to situations and solve problems within our organisation. Although we’re working hard to achieve our vision, the day-to-day reality of SME life means there are often situations we have to respond to. Dave will be giving a practical demonstration of using a systems thinking approach to help you move away from reactionary problem-solving to creating. He will sharing a simple systems thinking tool to help you recognise how to move easily from fixing problems to a more fundamental approach to recognising and addressing underlying causes of a problem.

At every boost networking event, we want you to leave feeling as though it was time well spent and with useful thinking and learning to take into your own business. We will be presenting a critical thinking model at our event, for you to take away and use within your own organisation - it has been essential to us in our own planning and risk management.
